Bringing laurels to St. Mary’s School, Vihaan Rao of Class 6-3 delivered outstanding performances in prestigious chess tournaments. He secured 18th place (tied with 9th) among 137 participants at the 360 ONE Global Chess Festival 2026 – Junior Master Chess Tournament, winning a cash prize of ₹25,000. He also finished 7th among 159 participants at the All India Chess Masters – Season 4 2026, earning a cash prize of ₹7,000 and a medal, and secured 3rd place in the Under-13 Boys Mumbai City District Chess Selection 2026, winning a trophy and a medal.
