The Inter house Debate for Classes 7 and 8 was held on, Wednesday, 28th August, 2019. Four boys from each house presented their point of views to the judges and the audience in the sessions allotted to them respectively. The topics of the debate were‘Human workers will be replaced by robots and automation’and ‘Online applications improve children’s intellectual and social skills’. The audience comprised of fellow classmates of Classes 7 and 8 along with a few parents and teachers. Ms. Sabiha Umer from St. Peter’s School and Mr. Joe Rose from Christ Church School presided as judges for the debate.
Each participant presented their point of view with great confidence and clarity, owing to the guidance of the English teachers. The Blue House won with 216 points while the Green House secured 208 points.The White House won with 208.5 points while the Red House secured 193.5 points. The names of the best speakers were called on stage and congratulated by the judges.
