Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated by the Pre Primary Section in the Mary Immaculate Hall. The children came to school dressed in their coloured clothes excited and awaiting the morning’s programme.
The teachers of the Pre Primary Section enacted the story of The Ramayana. Two dances were performed by the teachers of the Kindergarten and the Preparatory respectively. The parents of both classes contributed towards the celebration. They decorated the Pre Primary Section with vibrant Rangoli designs in the classrooms and in the corridor. As part of the good values associated with Diwali the children shared snacks with their classmates and learnt that sharing is indeed caring.
It was a morning filled with fun and joy. Children returned home with happy faces and ready to enjoy their holidays.
