On 2nd August 2019 class 2-1 had conducted the morning assembly on the topic Personal Hygiene. The assembly was conducted by a group of 21 students. The narrator began by speaking about the presence of germs everywhere in our surroundings. The students spoke in detail about the after effects of maintaining poor hygiene and how it enables germs to spread everywhere which ultimately makes us sick. The students further highlighted the various ways in which they can maintain good hygiene. They laid emphasis on following certain steps like washing your hands regularly, wearing clean clothes, having a bath daily, brushing your teeth twice a day and using a handkerchief to cover your mouth while sneezing or coughing. Along with these pointers, a few students recited a poem titled ‘Being Clean’ which laid stress on maintaining good habits. The assembly ended with an animated video which focused on washing your hands regularly to keep germs at bay and it also included a catchy song titled ‘Wash your Hands’.
