Being grateful for all that we have in life is one of the keys to true happiness. By recognising all of the wonderful things we have to be appreciative for, rather than dwelling on the negative, often those ‘not so wonderful’ things don’t seem so bad after all. Being grateful shifts the lens from what is lacking or not ideal to what is already present and good.
“We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognising and appreciating what we do have.” Frederick Keonig
The boys of Class 3-2 emphasized on the importance of being thankful, through their special assembly .The students explained the importance of being grateful with a short story about a blind boy. The students concluded the assembly with an action song ‘Gratitude Attitude’, which tells us to have a thankful attitude in life and reflect on all the gifts that life brings along with it.
